
Overview
Attorney Lee Roh-kong graduated from Yonsei University College of Law and completed her legal training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute (JRTI) as part of the 26th class. She began her career as a prosecutor in 1997 and held several key positions within the prosecution service, including Prosecutor in the Legal Affairs Division of the Ministry of Justice, Professor at the JRTI, and Director of the 2nd Criminal Division at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office.
She made history as the first woman to serve as both the 4th Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and the Head of the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office. In April 2020, she transitioned to private practice as a Partner at Shin & Kim LLC (Sejong). She later returned to public service to serve as the 65th Vice Minister of Justice from May 2022 to January 2024.
Attorney Lee brings extensive experience and specialized expertise to a broad range of legal matters, including criminal, civil, and commercial litigation, as well as international legal affairs, immigration, and correctional administration.
